Spacious Chiswick Family Garden
We were delighted to be asked to design and build the garden for this property located just off the Chiswick High Street which had recently undergone a contemporary renovation. The new extension included full width sliding doors, providing an open view and wide entrance onto this spacious garden.
The brief was to create a modern and usable outdoor space to complement the finish of the house and improve the view from the new extension. The garden needed plenty of room for the family to enjoy alfresco dining space as well as including a comfortable lounge area towards the rear of the garden to catch the best of the evening sun.
The finished garden is a green, leafy, calming space. The two entertainment spaces serve perfectly for moving from lunch by the house to enjoying sundowners at the back of the garden.
The soft grey composite decking, warm cedar slat-work and Cotswold green fence gives the space a countryside yet contemporary feel. A muted palette of plants of different greens, limes and pops of purples further soften the rectilinear design. Two multi-stemmed trees (one Acer and one Silver Birch) punctuate the generous planting beds and look amazing when lit at night.

We used Aoba for a complete redesign of our garden in Autumn 2022. John and his team were great: some excellent ideas, incredibly hard and consistent workers and we are now enjoying the benefits!
